Does waxing hurt?
This question is always difficult to answer, as everyone’s level for pain tolerance is different. Something may be not too painful for you, and be very painful for someone else. If you are nervous about the pain, I recommend taking an ibuprofen or aspirin 30 minutes before your appointment to help maximize your comfort. Pro-tip: waxing more frequently will help with sensitivity as hair grows back finer and sparser!
How long does my hair need to be?
The hair length, no matter the area of the body, needs to be at least ¼ inch, or about the length of a grain of rice. This makes sure that the hair is completely removed from the root.
What is the difference between a Brazilian and sphinx wax?
A brazilian wax removes all of the hair in the front of the pubic area. A sphinx wax removes ALL the hair. Front, back, everywhere.
How long will the waxing results last?
The smooth results that waxing gives will last for 4-6 weeks, depending on your personal hair growth.
Who should not be waxed?
Someone who has had laser skin resurfacing or if you have had a physician administered peel within the past year.
No tanning for 48 hours before getting waxed. If you have any sunburn, the wax cannot be performed
Varicose veins - a doctor's consent needs to be given to have the green light. Due to the vein being so close to the surface of the skin, there is a possibility of a vein rupture and causing bleeding.
Cold sores
Diabetes
Epilepsy
Haemophilia Operations/Recent scar tissue
Any contagious skin conditions due to cross infection.
Microblading - wait at least four weeks.
Can someone come into the treatment room with me?
Sure, you can bring someone with you! We have a salon policy that is no bringing children to appointments. However, if you are just coming in for a quick service (15 minutes or less) such as a brow wax, lip wax, underarm wax; a service that does not take a long time, I am more than okay if you bring your child to our appointment.

What is the difference between tint and henna?
Brow tint dyes just the hairs. Brow henna dyes the hair and the skin giving the brow a fuller look.
Can I get waxed when I'm pregnant?
Absolutely!
Can I get waxed when I am on my period?
Yes, that is not a problem, all you have to do is wear a tampon!
